Today on cnn student news, they talked about a tornado that hit St. Louis on Friday night. The tornado hit nine different communities and destroyed dozens of homes. Luckily, there were no deaths reported or any serious injuries. I think that is good because nobody died.
That’s all for today!

Today on CNN Student News, Ben Tinker talked about how tensions in Middle East, yet again take hold of another victim. This victim is not any one person, but an entire country. The country Yemen is at an unrest. The people of this country have spoken, and they want there president, who has been in power for more then thirty years, to step down from power. If there president does not step down soon, the riots and protests in this country will get even worst, and there president will have a lot of problems, that are in his hands.
Ben Tinker, also talks about how in St. Louis, Missouri, There was a huge tornadoes storm that tore through almost everything that was in its path. The tornadoes cause many people to panic and run away desperately, in search of shelter. The tornadoes, killed some people, but there were more minor injuries than deaths. The reason why there were more injuries than anything else, is because the people of that state were warned of the tornadoes ahead of time, and they listened to the directions given. It just goes to show you that listening, and following directions, can save your life.
Yesterday was Easter, and everyone from Catholics, to Christians celebrated this holiday. That’s over 2 billion people, around the world. Easter celebrates and honors the resurrection of Jesus Christ, and is also an important holiday to many. This holiday means many things to different religious groups. For the Catholics it marks the end of lent, a 40 day period were Catholics prepare for Easter, through prayer, repentance, almsgiving, and self denial. This is celebrated on what I know as holy week, before Easter day, or the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Easter is mainly known to all as the resurrection of Jesus Christ, and a time to celebrate with your family, and honor this time.
Well that’s all for now.
This is Jerry Papa signing off. Peace!

Today on CNN STUDENT NEWS Ben Thinker was substituting for Carl Azuz. Azuz is having a day off today. Thinker was talking about how in St. Louis, Missouri, a tornado hit an airport. They show two views how it was from inside and how people and security were reacting when they saw what was happening. First, the lights went off and they start to get cover. Then in the other view, it was first showing how one of the people that were talking in the phone saw what was going on and then started to run. Then it shows how the tornado was destroying the inside of the airport. This might it up to months to fix. They had to close it immediately cause of this. They also had to cancel many flights.
It also destroyed some homes and people lives. They can rebuild homes but not lives. I think that it is sad that we are losing many lives for all the things that had happen. For the things of nature and the things of what, happen in Libya. I wish that all this could change into something better than seeing people die. Well this is all for today. I hope Carl is going the show for tomorrow

Yemen
In Yemen the people are trying to remove their president from power as are most Middle East countries. Yemen’s president has been in power for 30 years and is getting to be a dictator. The people of this country did not ask for a dictator and are rebelling against him. To me this looks like a new fight that America will end up fighting. But Yemen is not the only Middle East country to be fighting so now we go to Libya. In Libya America has stepped back in with air support but where we ever truly out? We handed the fight to NATO but NATO is just a extension of Americas power in the middle east.
I believe that we do not need to go into these fights but we need to get all are troops home. We have had troops in the field since I was born and the wars have never ended once one ends another two replace it this is not a good system for us and it is why we are in the recession we are. You would think that we would learn from world war 2 but no, that’s because we are Americans and we only remember for so long before we repeat are mistakes often on a much larger scale.
Today CNN student news Ben Tinker talked about St. Louis . About how they had a tornado it destroy nine community’s . Lucky no one was serious hurt in this tornado because it could have ben alot worst and that wouldn’t have ben good .
He also, talked about how some religions were having a Easter prayer .
Also talked Harry Potter and about how collages have ben playing a game that has to do with one of his movies. Personly i dont like Harry Potter i think he is bording.

Today on Cnn student news, 40 days of celebration. Over two billion Christians celebrated the resurrection of Jesus Christ yesterday for easter. Pope Benedict XVI even prayed for what was going on in Liyba. I hope everyone had an amazing easter!
In additon, Harry Potter Fantasies coming true! You all remember from the movies and books, the famouse game of quidditch! Yes, this fun field game is now being played on collage camposes. The rules changed only alittle bit, there is no magic, no flying balls, no flying broomsticks. But don’t worry, you still have to ride a broomstick the whole game. That would be a fun game to play sometime Mrs. Y!
Today on CNN student news Ben Tinker was doing the CNN, instead of Carl.:(
Well anyways, Ben talked about the minor tornados in St. Louis. No one got killed or badly injured. Like Ben said, buildings can be re-built, lives cannot.!
Also on the before we go segment, there was a Quidditch match. Hm sounds familiar right? Well its from the movie Harry Potter . You have to ride on a broom stick and try to get a ball. I think it was more interesting in the movie, because they could actually fly! That would be so much fun, I would fly away. Well that’s all for today’s CNN student news.

Today on CNN Student News the protest in Libya and they also talked about a tornado in St. Louis. The protest in Libya is still going; it has been going for seven weeks. This is a really long time for a protest to be going. They need to put an end to it already. The rebels and Moammar Gadhafi are supposed to come to a treaty already. But no, they want to wait until something bad happens and then there won’t be either of them. I think they are acting like little kids. They need to resolve this. Personally I think the Gadhafi should step down from power because there is little that he does for Libya anymore.
They next thing they talked about was a tornado in St. Louis. The tornado went down a street and ruined a bunch of houses. The tornado also hit an airport. The airport was closed because it was in such poor shape. I think this was very bad because they said that the airport wont be opened until the power is turned back on. There are certain parts that wont be open due to construction and disaster.
Today on CNN Student News Ben Tinker talked about how in St.
Louis had a tornado. It went over 200 miles per hour. The tornado hit a airport. Almost every window was destroyed. They said if they find a crack in the window, they would have to take it down. They showed us videos of people running away in the airport. There were stuff going away to the tornado.
Bill talked about how theres a sport in collage that they would use broom sticks like Harry Potter. I think thats ridoulus that someone would make up a game like that.

First up on CNN Student News we go to a little to the middle, a ways to the east! In Yemen, many people are outraged. Hate feelings are spurned on by their terrible president. They release all their anger in non violent protest- for now! It wont take long, however, before they realize that nonviolence will not work. Once a dictator always a dictator – even to the death!
Second up – Libya. The war is taking its toll. The terribly powerful weapons of war wreak havoc across the lands of war torn Libya. Libyans all alike – Regime and Rebel, are tearing apart their own lands. The missiles they fire land into the earth and create dangerous craters. Dead bodies litter the land. The land itself was once beautiful, but now is a dead haven for ravens and other carcass eating animals. What if their isn’t a libya left to fight for? By the time this war is over, it will take years to recover.
Today on Cnn Student News I found out that a tornado had happened yesterday in St. Louis, Missouri. There were no reports of deaths or serious injuries. The tornado destroyed seven hundred-fifty homes and nine separate communities. Ben Tinker showed us what happened in an airport, one moment the airport had no problem and in the next moment wind was blowing and every one freaked out!
Also on the “Before We Go” segment they showed a college that played a game called Quidditch. The game was played in a Harry Potter movie. In the movie they rode in the air with broom sticks but the college students did it on the ground. I thought it was cool that they thought of that idea. I don’t think anyone else would have thought of that, to come up with something like that you have to have a big imagination!
Today on cnn they talked about a tornado that hit St. Louis the winds where 102 to 110 the tornado hit 9 separate communities there where no reports of any deaths or severe injuries. The images shown on cnn were horrible the tornado that hit in St. Louis destroyed lots of homes.
They also talked about a game called quidditch it’s similar to the game that was played in the movie Harry Potter when they had to get on a broom stick and fly up try to shoot the ball into the other opponent’s goal. (^^^)
The Andrew Report
Today on CNN student news, a tornado hit Missouri. Tons of houses where destroyed and even more where damaged. But good news still came from this disaster, no serious injuries or deaths. There was also a video from a airport there with many objects flying out of the windows and people taking cover.
Also collages have started a new sport. This sport has wrapped the minds of wizard everywhere. Of course, this game is Quidditch, and it is hitting like a fever. I wonder how long it will last?
Today on CNN student news they talked a tornado hitting Saint Louis airport. They have video tapes of the tornado destroying inside the airport. People say they saw blood everywhere from people cuts. Cars went flying everywhere and inside people were hiding so they wouldn’t get hurt. I’m amazed at what the tornado did to the place.
On CNN student news people were playing a game of witch when it relates to Harry Potter. Some high schools play the game of witch. All they have to do is have a stick between there legs and play. I would love to play that game someday and experience the fun there having.

CNN STUDENT NEWS
On CNN STUDENT NEWS there was a segment about a tornado in St. Louis airport. One person said there was blood everywhere from people being cut by the glass. The walked around the whole airport and glass was everywhere. News men and weather reporters said that if the public did not respond correctly to the weather warnings, then tragedies would occur.
People including religious groups and a country are also responding to Easter. They are celebrating the holiday. The pope was giving a speech about Easter and so were the army’s church group. I didn’t know people recognized Easter that much. I don’t believe in the Easter bunny and I doubt they do too.
Today on CNN Student News there was a segment about a tornado sweeping through St. Louis, Missouri. The tornado was moving about 200 miles per hour. The tornado injured some people but there were no deaths, thank goodness! The people were prepared because of the warnings so no one got extremely hurt.
Another segment was about Easter. It was on Sunday and many celebrated this special occasion. Easter is the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. That is really cool that so many people celebrate this holiday.
Today on cnn student news Ben Tinker talked about a tornado in St. Louis, Missouri. The tornado ruined over 750 homes in St. Louis. The tornado produced winds that went up to 110 to 200 mph. An airport in St. Louis had people in it when the tornado hit. They showed a video of the airport when it was being hit. Windows and the building were damaged. Many flights were canceled, and the next flights took off on Sunday morning. They said that the wind from the tornado moved an airplane when it was not even moving. They also said that the Red Cross is opening up shelters to the people that lost their homes in the tornado.
April 25, 2011
On this episode of CNN STUDENT NEWS Ben Tinker was the host today. He was totally lame. Anyways there was a story about Lent. Lent is celebrated during Easter, which was yesterday. Many Christians celebrate Easter. Easter represents the resurrection of Jesus.
Also on the before we go segment there was a story about Quidditch. Quidditch is a sport that is played on a field while flying on a broomstick. The objective of the game is to throw the ball into a little hoop. It sounds pretty boring to me but other people think it is fun.
Today on CNN Student News…Ben Tinker did the news instead of Carl Azuz. A war is going on for a city in Libya. If they conquer it, they get one step closer to conquering Libya itself. The funny thing about war however, is it doesn’t decide who is right, it determines who is left.
A tornado struck St. Louis in Mississippi and a nearby airport. It created quite a mess it did! It really sucks for whoever has to clean it up, which itself will take months to do. All the cracked glass must be removed for safety reasons. All that glass gone to waste! It could have made an awesome glass sword.
College kids have gone obsessed with Harry Potter. How? They played Quidditch, a sport of the books/movies, on foot! Foot I say! But most college kids that are worth mentioning really like Harry Potter. Why can’t this generation be more like that? We get people who like Twilight instead. I don’t see how anyone could even think of enjoying it.
Or even consider buying the book or viewing the movie!
