    CNN student news

Today on CNN student news they talk about a tornado that hit in Alabama, about 330 people got killed. Thousands of homes got destroyed. I really feel bad for the people that got killed or the people that are lost. I would never want my family to get kill by a twister.

Then they talk about the royal kings wedding. The king got married on Friday April 29, 2011. I hared that they had difficulties putting the ring to the bride. I think they should have tested the ring before it was time for the wedding. Well this is all for today. :)

Today on CNN student news, they talked about a twister that hit Alabama .They showed us all the damage it left. This powerful tornado destroyed dozens and dozens of homes. I feel bad for all of those people that lost their homes. The tornado left great damage that can be fixed but it also left 330 people dead, and this cannot be fixed. I truly feel bad for all the families that lost someone.

In addition, they also talked about a 5 lb. burger! This huge burger had 3 lb. of meat, tomatoes, pickles, onions, and cheese. I think this is too much food. I wonder if someone could eat that much food. That’s all for today!

Today CNN Student News Carl Azuz talked about about how Prince William and his wife Middleton’s got married last Friday. I think the wedding and the whole party was outstanding. Friends and family were there to support them. Even the whole world tuned in to watch it.
A lot of people died this week. Like The Libyan government said Sunday that ruler Moammar Gadhafi’s son and three of his grandchildren died.Gadhafi and his wife were in their son’s house when it was targeted.

Today on CNN Student News, Carl Azuz talked about how last week; Prince William and his fiancée Kate had their royal wedding. They invited all of there friends and family to their wedding, and they also had it broadcasted all throughout the wedding. It was quite a wedding to remember. It was one of the largest weddings that has ever token place in the U.K. The titles given to them are the duke and duchess of Cambridge. They aren’t going to have there honeymoon for awhile, because prince William wants to get back to working at his job, and also they don’t want anyone to know about there whereabouts, when they do have there honeymoon.

The space shuttle, Endeavor, was supposed to have its last shuttle mission a few days ago, but the shuttle was delayed because of possible unstable heating temperatures throughout the engine. The next flight was scheduled for today, but they delayed once again for more engine difficulties. The astronauts were sentenced to go home so they could fix the problem and also so they can plan the next flight. The next flight is scheduled to be sometime around May 8th.

On the before we go segment, Carl Azuz talked about how in a restaurant in China, they hold a competition to eat and devour an five pound burger. The rules are simple finish the five pound burger within two hours and your meal is free. Now you may be wondering why do people do this, well some people say its for pride, others say they do it for a sense of accomplishment, but I say people just do it for the free food.

    CNN STUDENT NEWS

On CNN STUDENT NEWS there was a segment about Tuscaloosa, Alabama. They have had tornadoes that tear apart their homes and belongings. One truck was tore up real bad. The roof was smashed in and all the windows were broken. Not only was it crushed but it was flipped over on its side. The reporter from CNN was explaining about how one house had no roofs and another one was missing a lot of stuff and the third one had nothing left. Some people just need tornado insurance. I’m sure in a couple of months Geico will make a commercial about tornadoes. The little lizard might say, “Is your house totaled?” switching to Geico could save you your house and maybe your fridge?

The royal wedding is everybody’s new interest. If you haven’t heard of it just eavesdrop on you and your friend’s mom talking to each other saying comments on Kate’s dress. Trust me, I know. All my mom and grandma talked about was the dress. They didn’t really care about the wedding, only the dress. I don’t care about any of it but it gives me a grade for talking about it.

First up, the tornado is gone, but the damage is here to stay. In Alabama, last week, a massive tornado ravaged the land. It completely destroyed houses, farms, ranches and buildings. Little cities were hurt the most. They strive off of their crops and the economy relies on their stores. Storage warehouses have been demolished, and crops uprooted. Tractors, the only things they could use to salvage what was left, well those were doomed to destruction the minute a tornado was seen.

World News Alert: Osama Bin Laden is dead! Released in a press conference late yesterday night, Barack Obama told reporters around the world about the death of Osama Bin Laden. We were told that an anonymous tip revealed the location of Osama, in Military Compound. Later that day, United States CIA lead what is the most serious counter-terrorism mission in our history to this day. He was found in a compound that was surrounded by walls as high as 18 feet, and topped with barbed wire. Two security gates guarded the only way in. Inside of the Compound were three floors, each guarded with a privacy wall. Inside was where Osama was hiding, and that was where he would die. After a bloody underground firefight, Many terrorists, including the infamous duo of Osama and the Courier, lay dead on the concrete floor. The remains of Osama were later taken into custody.

Today on Cnn student news, a Pope becoming a saint! Pope John Paul II handeled a lot of issues in the Catholic Church. To become a saint you must be blessed. To be blessed is to perform an act of a mirecle. This Pope has done so much for the Catholic Church I wish I could thank him myself.

In addition, a career conection with something that is used to help creat Cnn student news. This career conection is about the great tool called a steady cam. The steady cam alows the camra man to be able to take shots and record things without the shakey affect. I would love to try one of those out, since I love photography. Maybe that could be my career some day.

Before we go, A gaint 5 pound burger. 3 pounds of this burger is all meat. This resterant in China has a catch though. You have 2 hours to eat the whole burger or else you have to pay for it. I wouldn’t do this challenge cause all you are winning is some major heartburn!!

Today on cnn student news, Carl Azuz talked about NATO and also the disaster in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

In Libya NATO is planning operations to get rid of moamar Gadhaffi. They bombed a building that gadhaffi was in. The bombing killed 1 of gadhaffis sons, and also 3 of his grandchildren. Gadhafii and his wife were in the building, but they are still okay. They said that they do not target personells, that they target specific buildings, or locations.

In Tuscaloosa, Alabama, a tornado did a lot of damage. The tornado made car that looked brand new, look ugly and like they were rapped around a light pole. Most of the houses in the area looked like a bulldozer tried running them over. They think that winds over 300 mph did this kind of damages to homes, buildings, and vehicles. More than 330 people were killed in this disaster.

  9. MerondaW. Says:

Today on Cnn Student News I found out that a storm destroyed a city in Alabama, the wind was going about 300 miles per hour. I would not want to be in Alabama right now, they need a lot of help to get their place fixed. I wish I could help all of the people that got their homes destroyed. I would be devastated to have my house ruined and crushed in a tornado.
Also the launch that was supposed to happen on Friday at the Kennedy Space Center was delayed. They said that they had problems t=with some stuff. I hope they get to launch it soon.

  10. liz Says:

On CNN student news they talked about Tuscaloosa. Tuscaloosa was hit by a deadly tornado. The tornado did a lot of damage, it destroyed many houses and lots of other valuable things people needed. I would b really devastated if that had happen to me and my family.

Today on CNN student news they talked about a 3 ponder burger. It had tons of meat, lettuce and all the things that needed to be in a burger. I wouldn’t finish that burger in just 2 hours. I would be very full by the fifth bite. If three people where helping me out then just maybe we all three could finish that burger in time.

  11. Becky W Says:

Today on CNN Student News there was a segment about the tornado in the south around Alabama. They had a day of prayer yesterday for the survivors and victims. In some places they are beginning to recover. It turns out the tornado was recorded as the 2nd worse in all of U.S. history. That is so crazy that people actually survived that and I wish no one had dyed, but it was a terrible tornado, so some people were not prepared.

Another segment was about a 5 pound burger in China. 3 pounds of the burger was all meat. It was a challenge, if you finished the burger in 2 hours, the burger is free. That is so crazy if some one actually did that because imagine how sick you will feel after you gorge it down.

  12. alejandro g Says:

Today on cnn they talked about a tornado that hit Tuscaloosa Alabama the reporter said that the winds were probably as high 300mph. I think that this bad because people died homes were destroyed the reporter also said that the city is slowly going back to normal. I wonder why there are so many natural disasters going on around the world.

5lb pound burger a place offered a deal that if someone could Finnish the burger the burger I free I think that it’s a good deal. The burger also looked pretty good.

  13. Brooke G Says:

Today on CNN student news Carl Azuz talked about the Kenney Space Shuttle delay. The launch was delayed to no latter than may 8. I hope that this shuttle is successful.

Also on the before we go segment there is a five pound burger in china. Wow! Five pounds of fat, for free, if you finish it in two hours. three pounds of meat and two ponds or lettace and tomattos. I wouldn’t eat that, i would gain like 250 pounds, that would be horrible! Thats all for today CNN student news.

  14. Bryant M Says:

Today on CNN student news Carl Azuz talked about storm destruction . I think I would have ben so scared that I would have gotton on a plae the next day because that wind was going 300 mph . I would leave and go to another state just so I wouldn’t have to see something like that happen again. Cause you never know you could have died in that storm .

He also talk about Region in Recovery and that’s all for today .

On this episode of CNN STUDENT NEWS there was a story about the tornadoes in Alabama. These tornadoes are destroying every thing in its path. It is so insane that this is happening. I hope that every one is ok. They probably are terrified to even look at there homes after what happened.

On the before we go segment today there was a story about a monstrous burger that weighed five pounds. The restaurant had a good deal, if you ate the burger in two hours or less you would get to leave without paying for it. That is a good deal even though you won’t get to savor the flavor of the meaty burger. Now that is all for today.
